Presenting the McKittrick house! Per the Wisconsin Historical Society, this Italianate style brick home was built for John McKittrick, who was employed as a janitor at the Vernon county courthouse. Enough original detailing has been preserved to provide guideposts for restoration. The original windows, fascia and soffit, porch and tuckpointed antique brick present a wonderfully preserved exterior. On the main floor, you have patterned hardwood flooring, some original trim, and 11 foot ceilings! The dining room features built in cabinetry, chair railing, and a newly drywalled ceiling. The living room provides an enclave with bay windows, and an original plaster light fixture molding is in the study. Updated plumbing & HVAC systems.
